Return Policy for Photographic Wall Art Rentals
This Return Policy outlines the conditions for returns, refunds, or replacements for rented artwork. Returns or refunds are not available for a change of mind, so please choose carefully. Please review the following details:
1. Artwork Condition & Returns
- All rented artwork must be returned in the same condition as when delivered. You are responsible for safeguarding the artwork during your rental period; any damage or misuse may incur additional fees.

Annual Memberships:
Cancellation requests allow your membership to continue until the end of your current term. -
Short-Term Memberships:
Your membership will cancel 14 days after your notice. If the 14-day notice falls within your 13-week minimum rental period, your membership will end at the conclusion of that period.
Please include your preferred timeframe for artwork collection so we can schedule the pickup accordingly. Note that all rental fees incurred up to the cancellation date are non-refundable.
2. Defective or Non-Conforming Artwork
- If the artwork is defective, not as described, or unfit for its intended purpose, please contact us immediately with supporting evidence (e.g., photographs and a detailed description). We will work with you to arrange a return or replacement in accordance with applicable consumer law.
3. Return Process
- To initiate a return, contact our support team with your order details and the reason for the return. We will provide instructions for packaging, labeling, and scheduling a pickup. Return requests for issues must be made within 7 days of delivery.

4. Refunds
- Due to the nature of our rental service, refunds are rarely issued. If a refund is granted, it will cover only the rental cost of the artwork, excluding any shipping or professional installation fees. Refunds will only be considered if the artwork is returned in the same condition as when dispatched.
5. Exclusions
- Returns or refunds are not available for a change of mind.
- Unauthorized handling or damage by individuals other than our approved personnel voids return/refund eligibility.
6. Risk and Liability
- The risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon delivery. Please inspect the artwork immediately and report any damage without delay.
- We also recommend that you add the artwork under your business insurance for added protection.

8. Cancellation Policy
- We understand that circumstances change. To cancel your membership, please email us at rentals@photographicwallart.co.nz with the subject line "Cancel Membership" and provide at least 14 days' notice before your desired cancellation date.
